Welcome to Spinecentral in Hampton, London. Our clinic offers a new approach that may help with resolving sinus issues, TMJ pain, and head and face trauma, using ABC EndoNasal Cranial Correction™ as a part of the Advanced BioStructural Correction™ protocol. This corrective technique may help with alleviating the following symptoms:

  • sinus congestion
  • chronic sinus infection
  • lack of smell
  • lack of taste
  • blocked nose
  • crooked nose
  • deviated septum
  • headaches
  • TMJ/TMD/jaw pain
  • facial pain
  • facial crookedness.

ABC EndoNasal Cranial Correction™ realigns the nasal, facial, and cranial bones in a way that is not possible with many other forms of treatment, including cranial facial release. Although this technique is not used to treat any specific condition, it may help improve facial symmetry and alignment, facial pain, breathing disorders or difficulties (deviated septum), the physical mechanical effects resulting from a concussion and other head injuries or the stress of orthodontic treatment and bruxism (teeth grinding). Poor concentration and focus, sinusitis, sleep apnoea, snoring, sinus disorders, vertigo, and other balance problems may be impacted positively by the side effects of correcting cranial alignment with this method.

ABC EndoNasal Cranial Correction™ may be particularly useful in cases of head trauma from sports, accidents, and birth injuries. At Spinecentral, we use ABC EndoNasal Cranial Correction™ as part of the full Advanced Biostructural Correction™ protocol, a full-body alignment correction method that focuses on detecting and correcting misalignments that the body cannot self-correct.

How Endonasal Works

The skull and face are made of 22 bones that can move in different directions. Through normal living and especially from trauma and injuries, the skull can lose its normal bony alignment resulting in changes to its shape and balance. ABC EndoNasal Cranial Correction™ is a gentle, non-invasive process that takes seconds. The correction procedure itself involves the insertion of a small balloon into the left or right nasal cavity. Technically, these cavities are called ‘conchas’, and you have three conchas on either side of your face; superior, middle and inferior.  A specialised testing method called Synchronous Testing is used to locate the precise concha that needs to be treated on any given session. After the balloon has been inserted, it is then briefly inflated to complete the correction. Although it may briefly feel odd, strange, and uncomfortable, you will recover quickly and often notice some changes. Patients usually report that it feels like water going up their nose and relate it to feeling similar to jumping in the swimming pool. An ABC practitioner will usually take pre and post-photographs of your face, and you may see changes in symmetry and alignment of your face, including a change/reduction in wrinkles. Depending on your body’s needs, the procedure may need to be completed several times per visit and/or on subsequent visits.

At Spinecentral, we recommend that you complete a full health history questionnaire, consultation, and physical assessment before receiving ABC EndoNasal Cranial Correction™. Since this corrective technique is part of the full Advanced Biostructural Correction™ protocol, we cannot predict when and how often you will need it. Testing for ABC EndoNasal Cranial Correction™ is carried out periodically during your correction visits and throughout the overall recovery process. Each treatment helps unlock the facial and cranial bones little by little until you reach your health goals.

Are there any risks involved with this treatment?

ABC EndoNasal Cranial Correction™ is considered to be a very safe treatment. The main risk involved would be an allergic reaction to the latex finger cot balloon resulting in anaphylaxis. You should let your practitioner know if you have a known allergy to latex rubber. Alternate nitrile finger cots are available. Another risk associated with the method is nose bleeding. A nosebleed can range from minor and resolve after a couple of times blowing your nose, or it can be severe and require your nose to be plugged with a tissue until the bleeding stops. Your practitioner will discuss the risks of endonasal treatment with you.

Since the cranium works together in unison with the jaw, spine, pelvis and meningeal system, it is not advised to have endonasal cranial treatment without first addressing spinal alignment and the meningeal system with the full Advanced Biostructural Correction™.

How To Find A Reputable Practitioner of ABC Endonsal Correction

This method is only taught to Level 3 certified Advanced Biostructural Correction™ practitioners. You can find a list of providers on the www.abc-europe.org website and on the international database at www.meingealrealse.com.

A qualified Endonasal practitioner will be an expert-level ABC practitioner who has completed the full endonasal training seminar. By completing this training, they can call themselves a certified ABC Endonasal™ practitioner and should have this shown on their website.

A reputable practitioner should recommend that you complete a full consultation, examination and report of their findings prior to starting a custom-tailored treatment plan. This full procedure and its risks should be explained in advance, giving you an opportunity to decide if this is the right treatment for you. Pre and post-facial pictures and a SNAQ (sino nasal assessment) health questionnaire should also be performed to monitor your progress throughout your care.

Summary

If you’re experiencing any of the issues mentioned above, visit Spinecentral in Hampton, London. We offer effective and safe ABC EndoNasal Cranial Correction™ as part of the full Advanced Biostructural Correction™ protocol to help you regain a balanced and pain-free life.

ABC EndoNasal Cranial Correction™ is not a stand-alone treatment for the symptoms mentioned above. It is part of a much broader approach to managing and correcting structural imbalances through the full Advanced Biostructural Correction™ method. The basic underlying principle behind why the ABC method works is that it only corrects the misaligned bones that your body is unable to correct for itself. The problem of bones going out of alignment in directions that your body cannot self-correct because it doesn’t have any muscles pulling in the direction needed to do so extends into the cranial system of bones. Since there are a great many bones in the cranium, it is important to address them directly. Traditional methods of cranial sacral therapy can be limited in influencing the alignment of these bones since they are restricted to an indirect external hands-on approach to putting pressure on the skull. ABC Endonasal is often more effective at balancing the cranial bones because it can get inside the cranium, apply gentle physical pressure to multiple bones at once, and lever them back into their optimal alignment.
