In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean SpineCentral Ltd. “You” means any person accessing or using this website.

2. Our professional regulation

Chiropractic is a statutorily regulated profession in the United Kingdom under the Chiropractors Act 1994. The title “chiropractor” is protected by law.

Our chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the statutory regulator for chiropractic in the United Kingdom.

Nothing on this website constitutes a diagnosis, a prognosis or a promise of any particular clinical result. Every patient presents differently. Outcomes described anywhere on this website, including in patient stories and testimonials, are the experience of the individual concerned and are not a representation that any other person will achieve the same or a similar result.

Seek immediate medical assessment, and do not wait for a chiropractic appointment, if you experience any of the following:

• loss of bladder or bowel control
• numbness in the saddle or genital area
• progressive weakness in one or both legs
• unexplained weight loss alongside back pain
• back pain following significant trauma, such as a fall or road traffic collision
• back pain accompanied by fever
• a sudden severe headache unlike any you have experienced before
• any new or worsening neurological symptom

4.7 Nothing in this section limits our liability

Nothing in this section excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We take reasonable care to ensure the information on this website is accurate and current at the time of publication. Clinical understanding develops over time, and content may become out of date.

Subject to section 8, we do not warrant that the content of this website is complete, accurate or current, and we accept no responsibility for any error or omission in it.

10. Testimonials and patient stories

Where we publish testimonials, patient stories or reviews, we do so with the express permission of the individual concerned and we hold documentary evidence for each.

Testimonials describe the individual experience of that person. They are not, and must not be read as, a representation that any other patient will achieve the same or a similar result.

We do not publish, commission, incentivise or solicit false or misleading reviews, and we take reasonable and proportionate steps to prevent the publication of any such review on channels we control.

12. Complaints

We want to hear from you if anything about our service or this website falls short of what you expected.

Step 1: contact us

We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and respond substantively as quickly as we can. If you would prefer to discuss the matter in person, we will offer you a meeting within 10 working days.

Step 2: our full complaints procedure

Our complaints procedure sets out in full how we handle complaints, what you can expect from us at each stage, and how to escalate if you remain dissatisfied. It is available at spinecentral.co.uk/complaints-procedure and on request from reception.

Step 3: concerns about professional conduct

You may raise a concern about the conduct or competence of any registered chiropractor directly with the General Chiropractic Council at any time, whether or not you have raised it with us first. Contact details are in section 2. Raising a concern with the GCC does not require you to exhaust our internal procedure.

13. Changes to these terms

We may amend these Terms of Use to reflect changes in law, regulation, professional guidance, our services or our website.

The version in force is the one published on this page, identified by the “Last updated” date at the top. Where a change is material we will give reasonable notice by posting a prominent notice on this website before it takes effect.

Please review this page periodically. Continued use of the website after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

14. General

14.1 Severability. If any provision of these terms is found by any court or competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining provisions continue in full force.

14.2 No waiver. Our failure or delay in enforcing any provision of these terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it at a later date.

14.3 Third party rights. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of them.

14.4 Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Notice, constitute the entire agreement between us in relation to your use of this website.

14.5 Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms of Use, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
